Hey there reader, this site is all about Polynesian Dancing. It was created as a project for a Dance History class by Nikkol McCord and Yan Chen. The site will cover different warrior dances and dances that tell stories, from the meaning of the dances to the cotumes worn. With some helpful pictures to further explain the dances.
Polynesian Dancing was chosen because Nikkol's mom and aunts used to dance. After watching her mom practice, Nikkol has always wanted to learn but had been unable to do so. This was an opportunity to learn more about the dances that facinated her.
